Popis: | This is the first chapter of Part IV, focusing on the analysis of the Self-Assessed Measure (economic strain) of economic vulnerability and its distinctiveness from the Objective Measure (income poverty). The first step in our plan of analysis consists in estimating a base model of Background Characteristics, yielding a general profile of the two population groups that are vulnerable according to the Objective Measure (income poverty) and the Self-Assessed Measure (economic strain). Considering the similarities and possible differences between the groups will allow to respond to question Ii) ‘Is there a significant difference between the two (overlapping) population groups that are vulnerable (a) according to the Self-Assessed Measure and (b) according to the Objective Measure with regard to their Background Characteristics?’ |
