Popis: Viscosity, density, and expansion coefficient data are reported for liquid solutions in the system xKTiOPO4·(1 - x)K6P4O13 with 0.59 < x < 0.65 over a temperature range of 940 to 1000°C. The solutions exhibit Newtonian flow and the measured viscosities range between 50 and 80 cP. The temperature dependence of the viscosity can be correlated by an Arrhenius equation with an activation energy of 75 kJ/mol. Viscosity increases with titanium content. Within experimental error, all the solutions measured have a density of 2.34 g/cm3 and an expansion coefficient of 2.4 × 10-4°C-1 over the temperature range investigated.
