Popis: This concluding chapter considers how the arguments in the book have laid the foundation for a number of interdisciplinary counterpoints and harmonies that can be generative for future work in the philosophy of disability, the philosophy of music, and disability studies. It discusses the relevance of work in critical disability theory that examines race and what it means to “decolonize disability,” and it considers the importance of critical dialogue between disability theorists and philosophers and researchers and practitioners in other fields. It concludes with some final reflections on the meaning of “musical worlds” and the transformative power of musicking.
