Popis: | In this work, we investigated the magnetic properties of the polycrystalline Pr1-xCaxMnO3 near half doping by using the Electron Paramagnetic Resonance (EPR) spectroscopy. We observed the evidence of magnetically ordered rare regions above the anti-ferromagnetic ordering temperature (TN) which persist up to “a temperature scale” T*, higher than the charge ordering transition temperature TCO. The major EPR resonance signal arising due to the combined effect of Mn3+ and Mn4+ spins, indicate the emergence of additional sub-peaks above TN. The opposite temperature dependence of resonance fields associated with these sub-peaks suggests the formation of anti-ferromagnetically ordered clusters within the paramagnetic background for T |
