The current marching technique computes the electromagnetic field scattered by three-dimensional perfectly conducting objects. The size of the object can range from a fraction of a wavelength to tens of wavelengths. The field sources can be located far away from the objects or near the object surface. This corresponds to two classes of applications: bistatic radar cross section calculations or modelling of antenna performance near (or on) different structures. We outline the derivation of the current marching technique and present applications to bistatic RCS and antenna pattern calculations. |
