Popis: | Multiunit schools require many new relationships between administrator and faculty, teacher and teacher, and teacher and pupils. Guidelines have been prepared for important aspects of these relationships. Research is beginning to accumulate to guide action, and inservice training is available. Much, however, remains to be done to prepare teachers and administrators for their new relationships to the community. In the Principal's Handbook, published by the Institute for the Development of Educational Activities, Beugen, Kerns, and Graper describe the essential elements of a public relations campaign to precede and accompany the introduction of multiunit schools and individually guided education to a school community (1).
