Studies on tetranortriterpenoids from Cedrela augustifolia Sessée and Moc

Popis:	Three new bicyclononanolides: angustinolide (I), angustidienolide (IIa) and 2α-hydroxyangusudienolide (III) isolated from Cedrela angustifolia have been identified. Their respective structures were determined by spectroscopic means and chemical transformations leading to known compounds. A relationship was determined between the location of the 17-H signal in the NMR and the position of the double bond in rings C and D in several related compounds.
