Popis: | The method of microindentation was used to examine the relationships governing the elastoplastic deformation and brittle failure of hot-pressed specimens of titanium nitride from ultradispersed powders with different density. Their micromechanical characteristics were determined. The results show that with an increase of density the microhardness and Young's modulus become stable, microbrittleness decreases, whereas the microstrength at the critical stress concentration factor increased. |
