Popis: THE chlorine-chlorine separation in carbon tetrachloride has been given as 2.99 ± 0.03 A. by Bewilogua1, from X-ray diffraction measurements, and as 2.98 ± 0.02 A. by Wierl2, from electron diffraction experiments. Recently Dornte3, and Hendricks, Maxwell, Jefferson and Mosley4, have mentioned confirmation of these values, but Braune and Knoke5, and Brockway and Pauling6 have obtained smaller values, all using the electron diffraction method.
