Popis: | Effects are considered that arise in silicon-containing steels during reaction of silicon with carbon, alongside alloying elements. The effect of silicon on precipitation hardening, cold brittleness, strength level, and also formation of a more favorable carburized layer structure with different heat treatment and development of different steel conditions are noted. |
