Popis: | This paper shows a methodology of computer supported collaborative design by using of design process information. Authors emphasize the consistency of product information for the collaborative design. The utility of design process information is discussed to keep the consistency of product information. The design process can be regarded as the series of generating new product information from already generated one, so authors propose the process elementary unit which is made of the three components : process information, design activity (composed of design function and some other information), the link between the process information and the design activity. The design process information is explicitly described as networks of the elementary process units. The process information is implemented in the shipbuilding CIM system developing by authors. In the prototype system, an engineering designer proceeds with design operations using the process components combining. As a result the process are described in components network and well managed. |
