Popis: Mesenteric cyst is relatively rare and preoperative diagnosis is commonly difficult, because of lacking in specific signs and clinical manifestations. We presented two cases of mesenteric pseudcyst. One of the two presented with acute abdomen and an emergency operation led to the definite diagnosis. The other case could be diagnosed preoperatively.Case 1 was a 27-year-old woman complaining of right lower abdominal pain and palpation of a tumor. US and CT showed a cyst 6 cm in diamiter. Her abdominal pain became severe and an emergency operation was performed. Case 2 was a 44-year-old man complaining of abnormal shadow with calcification on abdominal X-ray film. US and CT showed a cyst 4 cm in diamiter. Barium enema and angiography findings were normal. Preoperative diagnosis was mesenteric cyst. Both cysts could be resected easily.Histopathological diagnoses of them were benign mesenteric pseudocyst.
