New aspects of resonant effects in laser-modified Quantum Electrodynamics processes : (Invited)

Popis: The contemporary theoretical research elaborates on the phenomenon of the resonant appearances of high-energy electron-positron pairs for a couplet of a laser-modified Quantum-Electrodynamical processes: the effect of the resonant photoproduction of ultrarelativistic electron pair in the field of a nucleus and a resonant process for the annihilation channel of the Baba cross-section in the field of a weak electromagnetic wave. Under the resonant condition the intermediate virtual particle transforms into the real within the light field ambience. Consequently, the indicated system permits the application of the laws of energy and impulse conservation. The resonant kinematics of the characterized procedures underwent a precise examination. Therefore, as a result of the investigation, the study establishes that the differential cross-section of the high-energy electron-positron pair production in the represented circumstances of the laser wave presence may substantially exceed the analogue cross-section in the absence of the external field. Numerous scientific facilities of pulsed laser radiation (SLAC, FAIR, XFEL, ELI, XCELS) maintain capacity to experimentally verify the project calculations.
