Popis: | Nanomaterials have been proven to speed up wound healing compared to other wound healing materials. In the present study, Gymnema sylvestre leaf extract was incorporated into polycaprolactone (PCL) nanofiber, gamma sterilized and used for efficient wound dressing applications. The synthesized nanofibers (NFs) were beadless, hydrophilic, and continuous, exhibited surface mediated antibacterial activity against wound pathogens and enhanced proliferation of fibroblast cells. The fabricated NFs can be constructively used for wound care application. |
