Popis: versity management courses due to resource constraints. We view diversity management as encompassing HR activities that encourage the inclusion of all groups in the workplace for competitive or ethical motives. For the review we carefully read and compared introductory HR textbooks and thoroughly debated the reliability, representativeness, and fairness of the methods. Specifics of our method are as follows: Initially we identified 23 introductory HR textbooks with a copyright date of 2005 or later by scanning the websites of major academic publishers serving the higher education market.1 This method resulted in a list of HR textbooks written primarily by U.S. authors for an intended audience of U.S. workers or managers, or perhaps for those working for U.S. companies in other countries.2 We limited this resource review to 14 of the initial 23 introductory HR textbooks that contained eight or more full pages
