Organisational aspects of prosecutors' activity in view of recommendations of bodies of the Council of Europe (part 2)

Popis: The article presents an analysis of international acts – recommendations of the Committee of Ministers of the Council of Europe and the conclusions of the Consultative Council of European Prosecutors, which addressed the issues of organisational and managerial support of the functioning of the Prosecutor's office, as well as the degree of implementation of the norms of these international acts in the Prosecutor's office of the Russian Federation at the present stage. At the same time, special attention is paid to the issues of information and analytical support of prosecutorial activities; selection, professional development and career advancement of prosecutors; organisation of interaction between prosecutors, judges, law enforcement officers in order to improve the efficiency of criminal proceedings, as well as with the media, civil society institutions; improvement of criteria for assessing the work of prosecutors and general approaches to the implementation of control activities. As a result of the analysis, conclusions were drawn on the importance of the recommendations set out in international acts for further reform of the Russian Prosecutor's office, taking into account the current socio-economic and political situation.
