Popis:	The purpose of this study was to discover the relationship between interest patterns measured by the Strong Vocational Interest Blank (SVIB) and achievement in an introductory course in economics. The study involved samples of 57 and 116 students in the Introduction to Economics courses at Westfield State College taught by the author from 1974 to 1976. The study was of an experimental nature since the relationship between interest patterns and achievement is still in the process of investigation [1,2,3].
