Popis: | This paper describes the step response performance of open typed constant flow hydrostatic guideways. To investigate the dynamic performance of open typed constant flow hydrostatic guideways, a new step excitation setup is designed to measure the step response of the hydrostatic bearing by removing the imposed displacement in short time. Four different experimental cases are carried out when inlet flow rate is equal to 80mL/min and 200mL/min. The experimental results show that the maximum dynamic displacement is twice than the imposed displacement. Furthermore, the settling time of the step response is related to inlet flow rate, but irrespective of the imposed displacement. |
