Popis: | 1. During the impregnation of an Fe + 3% Si + 0.03% Al alloy with nitrogen, aluminum nitrides are precipitated which inhibit normal grain growth. The impregnation of the alloy with nitrogen before its cold rolling is the most effective, since it produces the most perfect secondary recrystallization texture. 2. In powder Fe-Si alloys subjected to high-temperature annealing, secondary recrystallization may occur even in the absence of nonmetallic inclusions. In this case, flat pores elongated in directions parallel to the sheet surface act as a stabilizing phase. Because of the high reticular density of atoms in (110) planes, grains whose (110) planes are parallel to the sheet surface can readily skirt the pores, and grow much more rapidly than grains of other orientations, thus becoming centers of secondary recrystallization. |
