Popis: The work described here was carried out in order to determine the difference in infra-red absorption spectra of quartz, cristobalite, tridymite, vitreous silica and amorphous silica. For this, the region from 2 to 24 μ has been investigated; besides the fundamental bands we found some specific absorption: amorphous silica 10,55 μ quartz 14,40 μ, 19,15 μ tridymite 17,55 μ cristobalite 16,l0 μ vitreous silica 13,80 μ
