Low energy phenomenology of the overdoped cuprates: Viability of the Landau-BCS paradigm

Popis: This paper shows that the Landau-BCS paradigm provides a correct description of the low energy phenomenology of overdoped cuprates such as LSCO and Tl-2201. The authors' model gives a self-consistent account of properties such as superfluid density, optics, heat capacity, thermal conductivity and the Volovik effect, with the proviso that the starting point is an accurate parameterization of the electronic dispersion, and that the occasionally nonintuitive effects of disordered d-wave superconductivity are properly treated.
