Popis: | Thermoelectron emission from pure W, Mo, and Nb single crystals at high temperatures (T > @te, Ote is the characteristic thermoemission temperature [i]) exhibits a number of unique features (we observe an increase in the emission current, the appearance of anomalies in the initial segments of the volt-ampere characteristics (VAC), and oscillations in the diode current [i]) and it is accompanied by the appearance of fast electrons with an energy of ~2.5eV in the thermoemission spectrum [2]. It was shown in [2] that the observed experimental increase in the effective perveance of the diode for the case in which T > @te may be associated with an increase in the average energy eUav of the emitted electrons and a method is proposed to determine eUav with the utilization of an approximate equation to describe the distribution of the potential V(x) within the diode |
