Adaptive Filtering of non-Gaussian Flicker Noise in Discrete Time Systems

Popis: One of the features of devices and sensors of the loT system is the need to ensure extremely high energy efficiency while maintaining the required reliability of information transmission. In addition, many loT devices implement a low data transfer rate, which allows signal processing for a long time in a narrow frequency band. In this case, the signal spectrum is shifted to the high-intensity flicker noise region, which limits the possibility of improving the processing quality. An algorithm for adaptive filtering of flicker noise against the background of thermal noise in discrete time systems has been developed. To calculate the gradient, an extrapolation estimate of flicker noise was used. The convergence of the process of adaptive tuning of parameters to their optimal values is proved. The possibility of implementing an adaptive filtering algorithm in digital signal processing systems is considered.
