Popis: Single breath tests have several obvious advantages. They are easy for the subject to do. They may be undetectable by the subject, if tidal volume inhalations of low inspired CO2 concentrations (FICO2) are given. The short duration of the response makes baseline change less troublesome and minimises confounding changes in cerebral blood flow.
