Popis:	The male and female internal genitalia of Acrotrichis intermedia (Coleoptera: fam. Ptiliidae), are described. The most striking feature of the reproductive organs is their simple structure. Only the left testis and vas deferens are developed; there are no oviducts. The relation of these characteristics with a possible evolutive trend of material reduction, connected to small body size, is discussed.
