Influencing the environment is increasing worldwide every day due to growing production. Electric and electronic products, which are produced every day in countless quantities, contribute to this great extent. Therefore, it is necessary to seek and enforce measures that eliminate or at least limit these negative effects. This paper describes and proposes some new technical as well as legislative steps that can minimalize the environmental impact of electrical products. The proposed measures may on the basis of their gradual application to expand and complement the existing legislation that addresses this issue only to a limited extent. The aim is to contribute to the protection of the environment in the sector of electronic products that is based on the legalization of the defined option through eco marking, which can be granted by the manufacturer itself by meeting simple and measurable requirements. It is similar as is the case with the awarding of CE marking. The method for defining product eco-profile is applied. |
