Popis:	The removal of t-butyloxycarbonyl-, benzyloxycarbonyl-and O-benzyl group from protected somatostatin analogues by hydrogenolysis and acidolysis was monitored by FAB-mass spectrometry. Sideproducts can be identified and the optimum deprotection conditions can be determined using a minimal amount of peptide.
