Popis:	Holographic spectrometers using cylindrical beam volume holograms are presented with several advantages over conventional spectrometers. We specially show that these spectrometers can be designed to solve the well-known problem of resolution-bandwidth trade-off in conventional spectrometers through the use of optimally designed multiplexed volume holograms.
