Popis: | A 60 days feeding trial was conducted to study the effects of dietary supplementation of anthraquinone extract (AE) on growth, metabolic and haemato-immunological responses in Cirrhinus mrigala fingerlings challenged with Aeromonas hydrophila infection. One hundred and eighty fingerlings were randomly distributed into five treatments in triplicates. Five diets were prepared with graded level of AE. Five different treatment groups were: control (Basal feed + 0 % AE), T1 (Basal feed + 0.5 % AE), T2 (Basal feed + 1 % AE), T3 (Basal feed + 2 % AE) and T4 (Basal feed + 4 % AE). Significantly (P 0.05) A/G ratio was manifested in the T2 group fed with 1 % AE diet. Similarly, total leucocyte and erythrocyte counts were significantly (P |
