Popis: | The physicochemical, thermodynamic, and crystallographic properties of actinide and lanthanide fluorides are compared. On this basis, CeF3, LaF3, PrF3, ThF4, and UF4 were chosen to simulate PuF3, AmF3, CmF3, NpF4, and PuF4. Simulators will make it possible to decrease considerably the work in and costs of studying the individual and combined solubility of actinide fluorides and fission products in the low-melting fluoride melts used in molten-salt reactors for burning high-activity actinides. |
