A Novel Implementation of Computer Generated Hologram for Highly Secured Communication Using Gerchberg-Saxton (GS) Algorithm

Popis: In this work, we generate a computer-generated hologram (CGH) with the help of computer instead of optical lenses that is applicable for secured communication. Here, various images are used as an alternative of textual information to develop a Holographic Communication System (HCS) with the assist of a Gerchberg-Saxton (GS) Algorithm. At the transmitter side of the proposed system digital holograms are generated for the main object image along with the reference object image and muxing these two holograms the transmitted hologram is generated. Similarly, at the receiver side a hologram of the main object image was generated by demuxing the received hologram and also found the main object image from this regenerated hologram. As the decoding of transmitted hologram is almost impossible without the information of reference so the proposed holographic system can be implemented in the field of secure communication system that indicates the novelty of this work.
