Popis: | Deep infection of the surgical site, after posterior surgery for a spinal deformity, notably scoliosis, remains the surgeon’s main concern. If post-operative infection’s incidence decreased significantly during the last decades, thanks to hygiene and improvements in antibiotherapy, the increased number of patients surgically treated for spinal deformity mechanically inflates the number of infections. |
