Recent research focusses on the efficacy of AI model in diagnosis and treatment planning in endodontics by comparing it with human observers. Among them, several studies have proved that the AI models (CNN/ANN) provide reliable results which were comparable to the data of trained professionals. Hence, the objective of the present systematic review was to update knowledge on the AI applications in endodontic diagnosis and clinical decision-making process by systematically searching the recent available literature and to compare the effectiveness and efficacy of outcome of the AI models in comparison with human observers. |
