Popis: Little is known about the diurnal variation of urinary supersaturation which might allow precipitation and crystalluria to occur. Previously, we found that urine voided after ingestion of an oxalate-free calcium-rich test has a high degree of supersaturation in terms of calcium oxalate1. The present work describes the relative supersaturation of urine for brushite as well as the associated crystalluria, before and after a test meal. We also measured several small molecular weight inhibitors.
