Popis: Solar energy is a significant renewable source of energy for current global scenario. Being abundant in nature researchers are striving to conceive and improvise enhancement in performance. In this paper an optimization of perovskite solar cell is carried out to improve efficiency and fill factor. The proposed solar cell is modeled and simulated using SCAPs software. The designed solar cell is 35.83% efficient in terms of power conversion efficiency. The performance of existing and optimized solar cell design is comparatively analyzed in terms of performance parameters. The parameters of perovskite solar cells (PSC) design are evaluated using Copper iodide (CuI) as hole transport layer and Tin oxide (SnO2F) as Transparent conducting oxide. The results show that the concept of all the designs is almost identical but the material and morphology in implementation affects performance greatly in terms of PCE.
