Popis:	Paper chromatography was of little value in determining the purity of hempa because of co-chromatography. Thin-layer chromatography in 8:2 benzene: ethanol on silica gel G successfully separated hempa from 7 contaminating materials. Also, gas chromatography on an 8-foot column of 6% (w/w) DEGS separated the 8 components present in a sample of C14-labeled hempa. The quantitation of the mass and radioactive responses was linear from 0.2 ng to at least 20 ng.
