Popis: Psychosis is defined as impairment in cognition, perception, or emotional response of sufficient degree that the patient is out of touch with reality (Groves, 1978a). These impairments may be subtle, or they may be severe enough to make the patient incapable of meeting the ordinary demands of life (Robins, 1986). Interference in the capacity to relate to and communicate with others is typical.
