Thunder is the main cause of line failure. Due to the complex and multi-branch characteristics of distribution lines, lightning protection has always been the focus and difficulty of the power sector. This paper analyzes the lightning accidents of the Zibo distribution line in 2016, and finds that the number of induced overvoltage lightning faults accounts for 80%, and the number of direct lightning faults is 20%. Combined with the lightning strike and lightning damage mechanism and the seasonality, weather, topography and other related laws of the region, a differential lightning protection measure for distribution network is proposed. By using both the grooming and blocking technologies, it effectively reduces the lightning and disconnection of the distribution line. |
