Popis: | In this paper, a type-1 on-line fuzzy self-tuning scheme is proposed for a type-2 fuzzy PD controller (FPDC). The proposed scheme is applied on an overhead crane to control the cart position as well as the pendulations of the load for smooth material transport. In this study, two separate self-tuning fuzzy logic PD controllers (STFLPDC) are proposed. The STFLPDCs adjust the gain of the controller according to the process requirement by changing the output scaling factors on-line. A comparative study of the crane control is made with respect to other fuzzy controllers. |
