Popis: This article contains relevant information for the prototype of the advanced driver assistance system (ADAS) in terms of the methodology with which it is intended to design and implement it in the city of Tunja. Through the design of a hardware for a prototype of a driver assistance system composed of an inertial sensor, a GPS, a camera and an IoT communication system (XBee), the research carried out is of an applied type determined because it wants to design the prototype, but it can also be said that it is a quantitative and descriptive investigation for data collection that comes from standardized, validated and reliable sensors. The results obtained so far are test routes where it is evidenced that the prototype can predict the route when the GPS signal is lost with the respective graphs of speed and acceleration of the vehicle and the transmission of these data to the base station.
