Popis: In this work, we used shadowgraphy technics to follow the dynamics of the interaction between a UV excimer laser (XeCl at 308 nm) and liquid targets (mercury and water drops). These studies have been achieved together with spectral and temporal analysis of the resulting plasma plume. Shadowgraphy of the fragmentation (mercury drop) or evaporation (water drop) were recorded at different times of the energy transfer process.
