Popis: | The initial stages of selective transfer during frictional contact between copper alloys and steel using three types of test configuration were studied by optical microscopy, scanning electron microscopy and electron probe X-ray microanalysis. A mechanism of selective transfer and its implications under conditions of boundary lubrication when the lubricant is also an electrolyte is proposed. |
