The outline of the safety and health policy in European Union is firstly introduced. Next, activity of the European Agency for Safety and Health at Work, in which a safety and health programs are implemented through information network activity, are surveyed with some practice examples. Finally, new approach for improvement of working conditions on construction sites, introducing a new concept of safety and health coordination in design and construction stage, is explained, then education and training system for these coordinators are discussed. |
