Popis: The efficiency of electric network companies is influenced by the time and scale of distribution network reliability improvement. It’s proposed to make the analysis of the network reliability due to the ratio of the “current” and “limiting” availability factors. The method and the model have been developed for comparison and making a choice of the ways and means to improve the distribution network recoverability and its failure-free operation. The problems of efficiency calculation and the choice of means for 35-220 kV lines reliability improvement have been solved.The use of a cross-arm and a tower made from composite materials is considered to be the obvious example of such means.
