Popis:	We study vibrations of a two-layer plate of any thickness with rigidly fixed plane faces and sliding contact of the layers. By the method of homogeneous solutions, we reduce the initial boundary-value problem to a countable set of two-dimensional boundary-value problems. Methods for the investigation of the spectral characteristics of SH and P-SV waves are proposed. We study the influence of the mechanical and geometric parameters on the variations of the phase and group velocities and the cutoff frequencies.
