Popis: | Extensive investigations of the electrical conductivity and the thermopower of new highly conductive polyacetylene are presented. Pristine and defect-rich samples of various levels of iodine doping have been measured. The results are discussed in terms of two models: variable range hopping for low conductive samples and fluctuation induced tunnelling for high conductivity. Inhomogeneity of the material in the interpretation of the thermopower is taken into account. The anisotropy of the conductivity as a function of temperature, doping level and defects concentration is discussed. |
