Popis:	Oxidative addition reactions of complexes of the type M(NO)L 3 where M = Co, Rh, Ir, and L = tertiary phosphine are described. Nuclear magnetic resonance spectra of the starting complexes are consistent with C 3ν pseudo-tetrahedral structure in solution. Infrared νNO frequencies for a range of nitrosyl complexes are discussed in terms of the nature of the NO ligand.
