On-site environmental energy harvesting is a key technology to provide the power supply solution of wireless smart sensors. In view of the single energy form of traditional energy harvesting systems at present, the existing multi-source energy harvesting systems have complex control circuit and high loss. A multi-source environmental micro-energy fusion harvesting architecture based on energy harvesting chip ADP5091 was proposed in this paper. Its peripheral circuit is simple and can be independently adapted to the energy forms of different input characteristics, which effectively improves the efficiency of single-channel energy harvesting and the real-time response performance. In the experiment, solar energy and electromagnetic energy were fused to obtain power with two-stage energy storage capacitors. The single-channel energy extraction efficiency is 88% and 84% respectively. Through the DC-DC boost chip, the intermittent power supply to the wind speed sensor is realized. The effectiveness and practicability of the multi-source energy fusion harvesting technology is verified. |
