Popis: Macronet isoporous polystyrene structures are obtained by cross-linking of dissolved polystyrene by means of bischloromethylated benzene or biphenyl. Macronet isoporous cation exchangers, irrespective of the type and amount of cross-linking agents, can be completely saturated with the tetrabutylammonium ions. The swelling capacity of resins containing a sufficient amount of cross-linking bridges is independent of the type of the counter-ions and of the ionic strength of the outer electrolyte solution. These resins can be used in nonaqueous solvents.
