| Popis: | Can you recognize the difference between dementia and delirium? How about when a patient has both conditions simultaneously? Dementia and delirium have distinctly different causes and presentations, but many clinicians (including bedside and advanced practice nurses) may have difficulty distinguishing between the two conditions, especially when you don’t know the patients baseline cognitive status. Understanding both conditions can aid recognition and treatment. |
